India Night is a lively celebration of Indian cuisine and entertainment, held by Cultural Connections, Regina, with the purpose of raising money to give back to the community. The 2018 India Night will gather leaders in our community together to celebrate culture, diversity and heritage. India Night 2017 raised $100,000 for North Central Family Centre for their after school programs.

This year’s beneficiary is the Ignite Adult Learning Corporation.

As a not-for profit charity, Ignite is a catalyst for supporting at risk young adults to become self-sustaining productive citizens. Working with investors, Ignite helps at risk young adults develop academic and employment skills, positive behaviors and a good work ethic on which to build successful lives for themselves and their families.

Founded in 1990 by Carlo Bizzarri, Ignite hires 21 apprentices every 40 weeks and their job is to learn. The program builds strength in marginalized young adults, to inspire their hopes and dreams, to empower them to live to their full potential as contributing members of society, and to be the catalyst that makes a real and lasting difference in our community.
